ASAHI Nordic is a gentle, mind-body health exercise developed in Finland in 2004 for all ages and levels of fitness and mobility. The routine integrates slow physical movement, deep breathing, and mental focus similar to the eastern traditions of Tai Chi or Yoga, but based on modern medical research with no religious, political, or cultural affiliations. ASAHI Nordic can be done standing or sitting in regular clothes and does not include any activities on the ground so there is no need for floor mats, special equipment, or fancy exercise outfits.
